Revista Bio Ciencias has a new metric, the Journal Citation Indicator (JCI: 0.04).

Revista Bio Ciencias is a peer-reviewed, indexed, continuous scientific publication focused on the dissemination of high-quality scientific information in the fields of Biological and Agricultural Sciences. It is included in major indexing systems such as the Mexican Classification System for Science and Technology Journals (CONACYT index), Web of Science (Emerging Sources Citation Index), SciELO, DOAJ, Latindex, and Imbiomed.

Currently, Revista Bio Ciencias includes the Journal Citation Indicator (JCI: 0.04), incorporated into the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) 2021. The JCI is a journal-level metric that represents the category-normalized citation impact of articles published in the previous three years. It is calculated for all journals in the Web of Science Core Collection and is published annually in the JCR.
