Resumen
Objetivo: Evaluar la prevalencia de ansiedad por coronavirus en estudiantes preclínicos de Medicina. Material y métodos: Estudio transversal basado en una encuesta en línea, administrada del 28 de octubre al 16 de noviembre de 2021, que recopiló datos demográficos, historial de contagio, miedo, preocupación, ansiedad por COVID-19 y la autopercepción del logro de objetivos de aprendizaje. Resultados: El 8.53% de los estudiantes mostraron ansiedad por COVID-19. Ser mujer, haberse contagiado, el grado de la enfermedad, compartir vivienda con una persona contagiada, miedo a contagiarse y fallecer a causa del virus, preocupación por la situación económica y considerar no haber alcanzado los objetivos de aprendizaje fueron factores asociados con la ansiedad. Conclusiones: La prevalencia de ansiedad por COVID-19 tras 20 meses en pandemia es significativamente más baja, comparada con la reportada en etapas previas de la pandemia. No obstante, siguen existiendo factores que son necesarios considerar.
